About The Project
The Forest is a collaborative effort between 2D animator Rebecca A. Jones and musicians Stuart Meyer and Sujahn Shankar.

Through the power of audio-visual media, the Creative Collective team put together a short tale of a girl who is given the choice between going around a vast forest, or cutting through the middle. Upon choosing that the shorter route through the forest, she finds herself lost in a confusing mass of trees and undergrowth. However, she is found by a friendly familiar, who guides her towards the exit of the forest.
Accompanied by excerpts from tracks that can be found in the complete album, the animation is brought to life and is given much deeper levels of meaning.

The themes that the project revolve around are taking risks, loneliness, depression, and the power of companionship. While both animation and album portray these themes in one way or another, they allow the audience a chance to extract their own interpretations from the narratives.
Who is the Creative Collective?
Rebecca Jones - Animator

Rebecca is an outgoing and passionate Australian artist whose strengths lie mostly in 2D animation, concept art and character design. She has a love for creating fantastical worlds and designing new characters to live within them. Her online alias is Nebuleer, with which you can find her on most social media sites to which she shares her latest creations.

Stuart Meyer - Musician
​
Stuart Meyer is a new-age Audio Producer and all around sound enthusiast who has an ongoing passion for the creative arts. His style is an amalgamation of Electronic, Ambient and Hip-Hop, combining elements of multiple genres in his work - Stuart utilises both modern and classical production techniques in an effort to create mood and evoke feeling through sound.

Sujahn Shankar - Musician
​
Sujahn Shankar is a Malaysian DJ/Producer, who strives to bring immense energy through infectious dance grooves in his productions. Having been a massive enthusiast of Progressive House and Electro House music for many years, Sujahn decided to take this obsession a step further, and started working especially hard in producing these particular musical styles. Still an up and coming name in the DJ scene, Sujahn has set his sights on taking Malaysia & Singapore’s biggest nightclubs by storm in the near future.
